About the organization:

Rosendal School is a municipal F-9 school located centrally in Vallentuna with proximity to natural areas, libraries, swimming pools, ice rinks, and more, as well as good transportation links.

The after-school program has access to its own facilities as well as the school's other facilities such as a gym, home economics, crafts, and music rooms. We have a good outdoor environment with large areas including artificial grass pitches, climbing frames, forest areas, and more.

The atmosphere at the school is characterized by high satisfaction, warmth, and safety.

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a resource educator in our special education group for grades 4-6 (students aged 10-12). The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a small, resource-rich unit where the individual is in focus.

As a resource educator with us, you will work together with colleagues in a fixed work team. You contribute to making the students' stay at school throughout the day meaningful, enjoyable, and developmental.

The uniqueness of the position is that you are part of a team with high staff density and work in close and continuous collaboration with colleagues to ensure a coherent experience throughout the student's school day. The group consists of 10 students, and there are a total of two teachers and three resource persons who jointly are responsible for the students' development and well-being.

During the school day, you work in the smaller special education group and collaborate closely with other educators. Here you have great opportunities to use your interests to actively strengthen and deepen the students' knowledge development. During school holidays, you work in an age-integrated after-school department where the activities are planned jointly based on the curriculum's goals and central content with the students' learning and development in focus.

Qualifications:

  • Educated childcare worker/after-school leader.
  • Experience working in a special education group or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of NPF and working with students in need of special support.
  • You are well acquainted with applicable governing documents.
  • You master the Swedish language both orally and in writing.

The employment is a fixed-term position at 75% until 2026-06-30, 30 hours/week (from 08:00 to 14:30 Monday to Friday) with immediate start. We apply individual salary setting.
